MILLER
Jacob MILLER I , of German origin, sailed on an English vessel put out to sea at Espiritu Santa Bay destined for New Orleans. After being lost in the Gulf of Mexico, it finally arrived on October 24, 1769. He and his family are listed on the vessel as

- Anne Marie, 30;
- Barbe, 6;
- Catherine, 4;
- Anne-Marie, 3; and
- Jacob II, age 2.
Catherine, daughter of Jacob and Anne Marie, married Jean Ritter, the son of Michel Ritter and Marie Barbe Coar.
