FOREST
Michel deFOREST, born 1638, the son of Henri de Forest, d'Avesnes , arrived in Acadia in 1659. He married in 1666 Marie Hebert, daughter of Etienne Hebert and Marie Gaudet. He married his second wife, Jacqueline Benoit, in 1686. She was the daughter of Martin Benoit and Marie Chaussegros.
Marie Forest was born in 1675 to Michel and Marie Hebert. She married Pierre Beniot, son of Martin Beniot and Marie Chaussegros. Through this marriage, she married her step-mother's brother.
