BONNET
Jean BONNET was the progenitor of the Bonnet family in Avoyelles. Jean, a native of Montagne in the Province of Saintongne, France, was the son of Jacques Bonnet and Marie Bateau.
He married on September 9, 1806, Francoise Gaspard, the widow of Augustin Juneau. There were at least five children born of this union:
