Pierre Beniot, son of Martin and Marie, was born in 1675 in Acadia. He married Marie Forest, daughter of Michael Forest and Marie Hebert, in 1695.
Pierre Beniot II, born in 1704 to Pierre I and Marie Forest, married in 1730 Anne-Marie Gaudet, daughter of Jean Gaudet and Jeanne Henry.
Jean Beniot, born in 1731 to Pierre II and Anne-Marie, married at Louisbourg in 1751 Anne Trahan, daughter of Etienne Trahan and Francoise LeRoy.
During the late 1760's, two Beniot brothers and a nephew arrived in Louisiana from Acadia. They were Jean Baptiste and Charles-Olivier, sons of Jean and Anne-Marie. The nephew was Etienne.
