Miguel BARRE' of Montreal, Canada, was the son of Miguel Barre' and Josefa Belleisle. He married on May 12, 1799, Marie Ache', daughter of Joseph Hachee and Ana Dumon de del.
The Barre' name is carried in this family line by Hypolite Barre', son of Miguel and Marie. He married Bridge Donne', daughter of Battist Donne' and Mariam Guirien. There exists an old family name of "de la Barre" in the New Orleans area with ties back to France.
No evedience has been found which show the families are the same.
