"The Acadian Memorial designated by state legislature as "the World Memorial to All Acadians who ended their exile in Louisiana." The Memorial symbolically reunites exiled Acadians who began arriving in Louisiana in the 1760's. "To honor their suffering and tell who they really were is what the Acadian Memorial is all about."

- "The Arrival of the Acadians in Louisiana", 12'high and 30'wide Mural which depicts figures representing actual persons documented as Acadian refugees who settled in many different parts of Louisiana
- "The Wall of Names" which serves to memorialize and reunite approximately 3000 persons who can be identified as Acadian refugees in Louisiana records
- "The Eternal Flame" which burns in a memorial garden on the Bayou Teche in memory of all Acadians and their great devotion to their homeland and to their religion
- "The Interactive History Center" dedicated to providing quality service through a multicenter computer system that was lauched in December 1998. Information on a range of subjects ralated to the Acadians.
